Why should my surgery/procedure be performed
in a surgery center instead of a hospital?

Over 80% of all surgical procedures can and should be performed in an outpatient setting. A surgery center specializes in ambulatory surgery. The staff is specialized in providing care for outpatient surgical procedures. Patients undergoing procedure are generally healthier and will not be exposed to patients with critical illnesses as would be the case in a hospital setting.
